Martial Arts & Self Defense Classes
Insports has partnered with World Champion Taekwondo Fairfield to bring Martial Arts & Self Defense Classes to our facility.
WCT has 14 locations in CT! They have over 25 Certified Masters who have degrees between 4th-7th Dan Black Belts and have 1,500 Black Belt students and over 3,500 students are currently training. Over 200 of his students are National Team Members who compete in the CT State Championship, USA National Championship, US Open and International President’s Cup.
Master KJ currently holds a 4th Degree Black Belt from World Taekwondo Federation from Korea. He is ranked #1 in USA and #1 in Pan American Champion in Mexico 2016 and 2018. He is also a USA National Gold Medalist. Master KJ’s World Champion Taekwondo staff specialize in working with children. Classes are divided by age and skill to provide the best possible match of teaching style to student’s needs. All children are taught at their own pace.
We help children: develop self confidence and an “I can do it” attitude, improve self discipline for better behavior at home, sharpen listening skills for improved grades, enhance strength, coordination and athletic ability, have tons of fun in class, opportunity to compete in a local tournament in CT
Introduction to Taekwondo
Does your child have trouble focusing? Is your child shy? Does your child have trouble with bullies? Is your child energetic? Does your child have trouble making friends? If so, try the new in-sport taekwondo classes which can help you try to focus and build confidence! This class is taught by Master Shawn & World Champion Taekwondo.
- 6 week program: 11/28/18-1/9/19
- Wednesday Evenings from 5:00pm-5:45pm
- $199 includes Tshirt.
Women’s Self Defense Class:
- Learn self defense skills for greater personal security
- Build confidence around other/random people
- Improve endurance, flexibility and strength
- A healthy and fun option for stress relief
- Greater variety than traditional exercise programs
- No belt curriculum
- 6 week program: 11/28-1/9/19
- Wednesday Evenings from 5:45pm-6:30pm
