Leagues

All league participants are required to have an Insports membership. Members can participate in an unlimited amount of leagues and sessions during their 12 month membership. All membership cards must be scanned at the front desk before each game. This allows Insports to track who is playing each week, and to make sure that no unauthorized players are on the turf fields or hard floor courts. The Insports front desk staff will verify that the player’s membership is valid and that he/she is allowed to play (no red cards, penalties or bans).

Each team must have a Team Captain. Each Team Captain will be emailed a packet at the beginning of each league session that will contain the rules and regulations. It is the Team Captain’s responsibility that all players on the team know the rules. Team Captains are responsible for the actions of his/her players. Therefore, Team Captains will be responsible for the immediate removal of any ejected player(s), and will be responsible for the follow through communication of any and all suspended players.

All communication between the teams and the referees will only be through the Team Captain. Any Team Captain who speaks to the referees disrespectfully will lose his/her right to dispute or question a call.

Team fees apply per session. Each sport and league has different team fees.
Each Team Captain is required to register online and put down a non-refundable deposit of $200 for his/her team for the session. Without the deposit and online registration, Insports cannot hold a team’s spot for the league.
The balance of a team’s league fee must be paid before the team steps onto the turf fields or hard floor courts for its second game. Any teams that are not paid in full by the second game will be forced to forfeit all games and incur forfeit fees until the team is paid in full.
Please check the Insports Leagues page for more information about each Insports League pricing .

Each team is required to complete a roster by its first game. Teams will be able to add players or drop players up until the start of the their third game. Please note that players who drop may not receive a refund for their membership fee. Each player must go to the Insports website, fill out the membership form, sign the online waiver form and ask to be added to his/her team.

Each Team Captain will receive his/her first week’s game time approximately one week before the start of the league.
Complete schedules will be available online by the first game. Once the schedule have been posted, Insports will not be able to make changes.
If any team has any specific requests, Insports will try their best to accommodate them, provided the requests are given to Insports a week before the league starts and are not unfair to the other teams in the league. The only reason a schedule may change after the start of the league is due to foreseen circumstances, such as a team dropping or being removed from the league.

Each Team Captain must check in at the Insports front desk before each game to receive a game slip to be given to the timekeeper along with the ref fees.

Team Captains are responsible to inform all players need to be in proper team uniform by the second game at the latest. All players on the same team must have the same color shirt, and each player must have a different jersey number on the back of the shirt. The referee will not allow any player to participate without the proper team jersey and equipment.

Any team that does not show up for their scheduled game (a “no show”) will be charged a $50 fee, which must be paid before the team’s next game. In order to avoid a forfeit and the $50 “no show” fee, a team must have a minimum of 4 players, the game slip from the Insports front desk and have paid the referee fees. Team Captains giving Insports a 48 hour notice for a “no show” will be given a forfeit, but will not be charged the $50 fee.

If a team needs to withdraw from a league for any reason, the Team Captain must notify Insports at least 48 hours before the team’s next game. The team will not be charged the $50 fee, but will not be able to get a league fee refund.

Insports does not provide coaches for any youth team participating in any of the leagues.  A maximum of three parents or adult volunteers per team are encouraged to organize and coach any team without a designated coach.

Insports does not guarantee any minimum or maximum playing time for any player in any of the leagues.

Youth age groups are determined by the age group the child participated in  for the previous outdoor fall session. All youth players are permitted to “play up” an age group with parental and Insports permission. No youth player may be permitted to “play down” an age group.

League champions earn a spot on the Insports’ “Wall of Champions,” which will be posted on the Insports website and a shout-out on the Insports Facebook page. The team will also receive a champions trophy and champions t-shirts.

Please check the Insports Leagues page for more information about each Insports Leagues’ rules.
