2016 Yogathon
Saturday, October 15, 2016
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Insports Centers
29 Trefoil Drive
Trumbull, CT 06611
Who doesn’t love yoga? It’s a stress-free way to improve your flexibility, core strength, balance, and muscular endurance. Not to mention all of the mental and spiritual benefits it provides.
This month, you can join hundreds of fellow yogis (someone who practices yoga) from across Connecticut for a day of community, music, fundraising, and of course – yoga! Participants will be led by a renowned team of yoga instructors from across the state, and some who have even traveled across the country.
The 2016 Connecticut Yogathon is sponsored by Yoga Reaches Out, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to create selfless service by raising funds for organizations that impact the health, education, and well-being of children.
By registering, all participants commit to raising a minimum of $108 though sponsorship from friends, family, and colleagues. Great prizes are awarded to the individuals who raise the highest amounts. Together, we can make a difference for this year’s beneficiaries: the Sandy Hook Promise and 108 Monkeys!
