Summer is drawing to an end. For athletes, all of the summer sports leagues are coming to a close and it’s time to start preparing for the school year to start. Whether you’re in middle school or high school, a competitive athlete is always looking for a way to take their game to the next level.

Insports has a list of upcoming high school showcases and middle school clinics for student athletes to work on their skills and showcase what they’ve got!

High School Showcases

If you are a high school student-athlete who wishes to play at the next level, this is your opportunity to show local colleges what you’ve got! We are offering showcases for multiple sports, see the schedule below:

September 26th – High School Girls Lacrosse Showcase
October 10th – High School Boys Basketball Showcase
October 17th – High School Softball Showcase
October 24th – High School Girls Basketball Showcase
November 7th – High School Boys Baseball Showcase
November 21st – High School Boys Lacrosse Showcase
December 5th – High School Girls Volleyball Showcase

Each showcase begins at 7:30am with a limit of 100 athletes per showcase. Multiple colleges will be attending, from Divisions I, II, and III. Any high school athlete looking to play in college should attend their respective showcase.

Middle School Clinics

Want to play on the varsity high school team as a freshman? You’d better bring your A-game! Improve your athleticism and fine-tune your skills during our clinics. See our schedule below:

September 20th – Middle School Wrestling Clinic
September 27th – Middle School Girls Lacrosse Clinic
October 4th – Middle School Baseball Clinic
October 11th – Middle School Boys Basketball Clinic
October 18th – Middle School Softball Clinic
October 25th – Middle School Girls Basketball Clinic
November 8th – Middle School Boys Lacrosse Clinic

Middle School clinics have one session per day with a limit of 100 athletes per session. Expert instruction will be provided by FCIAC, SCC, & SWC high school coaches.

Here is a rough overview of what attending student-athletes can expect, whether they are participating in the middle school or high school events:

  • Check in – Pick up shirts
  • Warm up exercise with T.E.S.T.
  • Speed and Agility Assessment by T.E.S.T.
  • Clinic Rotations begin
  • Break up into small-sided games
  • Parent college recruitment seminar conducted by Wayne Mazzoni (High School Only)
  • Awards and certificate presentations
