Are you looking for a soccer clinic that is challenging, creative, and fun for players of all skills & ages? Tri-Town Soccer Academy is proud to announce this year’s Summer Clinic options for players ages 5-12! Players will work with our Nationally Certified Staff who have proven track records in helping players develop athletically as well as improving each player’s current skill sets!

Age Groups:  5-12

Cost: $350 (Tri Town ONLY) or $450 (Tri Town with Insports Afternoon Camp)

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm or 9am – 4pm (Full Day with afternoon In House Camp)

Sportslook Thrills & Skills Flag Football Camp is a unique program that you will only find here! Led by local youth coaches Steve & Scott Christy, this camp is sure to teach your child the essentials to be the best football player they can be while most importantly, having FUN! This exciting camp will incorporate punt, pass, kick competitions, and games, position specific drills and skill work, and our most popular Passing League! Come SCORE, SCORE, AND SCORE SOME MORE!

Insports is partnering up with NOVA Volleyball and Coach Kim Roleder to run this year’s Girls Volleyball Camp! Tailored for girls, grades 5-12, this camp will focus on all aspects of the game! Hitting, setting, passing, offensive, and defensive technique, live-game play action, competitions and more! Daily instructions provided by Division 1 college players and coaches are sure to make this camp one you won’t want to miss!

Time: 9am-11:30am

This camp is open to all players and is an intensive, all-encompassing baseball training program geared to the serious baseball player. If your son wants to be an impact player on his little league/ripken league team, middle school team, high school team, or has aspirations of playing post-HS, THIS IS THE PROGRAM FOR HIM!

Nor’Easter lacrosse is back for another year to offer the area’s best girls lax camp! For the player who is looking to take their game to the next level or the beginner who wants to learn the game, this camp is for you! Instruction from college lacrosse coaches will include skill development, techniques for stick work, shooting, defense, offense and live game-play action.

In addition to the week-long camp, sign up for our 3-day camp at the very end of the summer to prepare for the upcoming Fall Season! Each day of camp will incorporate skill work, offensive and defensive strategies, scrimmaging, station work, and of course… the absolute BEST coaching this area has to offer!

Time: 9am-12pm (DTX Only)

Camp Camp Fee: $350 per week (DTX ONLY) $450 (DTX AM, Insports Camp PM)

Joe DeFilippo

Executive Director of Baseball Operations, Coach

Joe has done it all in his 40+ years in baseball as a player, coach/instructor, scout/ talent evaluator, and umpire.

Following a highly decorated career as a middle infielder, Joe immediately began teaching and coaching young players the game he loves, in Alabama, Texas and Connecticut. In addition, Joe has 20+ years experience as an umpire in youth, high school, and college baseball. He has also been involved in the scouting end of baseball as a talent evaluator at showcases/combines for prospective college and professional players.

Coach Joe has also been involved in coaching youth basketball, and football at both the youth and high school level.

Previously the organization founder & co-owner of the Connecticut RiverDogs, Coach Joe’s teams and players have won innumerable league and tournament championships.

RICH LICURSI

Executive Operations and Player Development, Coach

1st Team All American and Highest decorated player in Sacred Heart University baseball history; Coach Rich was player of the year in 1990 and earned a spot in the Cape Cod league for the Brewster Whitecaps. In high School Coach Rich was decorated with all state honors, All FCIAC, 1 State Championship at THS (1986), and selected to the All Daily News Baseball Team in 1987.  Coach Licursi is the All-Time record holder at SHU in career and season strikeouts, career and season wins, complete games career and season, total innings career and season, and total career appearances.  Coach Rich enjoyed a 5-year professional career with the LA Dodgers and Boston Red Sox organizations as well as independent baseball.  Coach Licursi has been in child development or over 30 years ranging from Director of the Westport/Weston YMCA to Board of Directors for in town sports.  When asking Coach Rich what his biggest accomplishment is, he states that he takes great pride in his students and players he works with, and the response from the community has been amazing.  Coaching now for over 30 years in youth sports ranging from Baseball, Football and Basketball, coach Rich will always be here for the kids and with a focus on personal and team growth.  Previously the organization owner & creator of the CT Dodgers, Coach Rich produced many championship teams over the past 7 years and signed over 30 ballplayers to college opportunities and scholarships.  A master in the art of pitching, Coach Rich is considered one of the best available to work with.
