Venture into the world of Minecraft in our unique LEGO experience. Get ready to build your base, craft your tools, use your Minecart to harvest raw resources, and battle to stop the Ender Dragon from ending the world! Come explore the endless possibilities of LEGO with a trained Play-Well instructor.

LEGO® Master, I choose you!! In the race to be crowned the Ultimate Pokémon Champion, we need your help! Learn to build your favorite Pokémon, level up by teaching them special moves, evolve them into more powerful versions, and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for the title. Learn from our Play-Well Pokémon Masters so you can make it to the top!

Code Ninjas – Sports Edition

June 22nd- 26th (9am- 12pm)

Details
Coding camp where kids turn their love of sports into interactive video games using Scratch (MIT).  Throughout the week, ninjas design and build their own sports-themed games, tracking scores, setting timers, programming smart opponents, and creating levels. Screen time is balanced with movement, teamwork, and game-based challenges.
No prior coding experience required. Perfect for kids who love sports, games, or both!

 

Camp Fee: $360 per week (Code Ninjas 9am-12pm) or ($450per week Full Day w/ morning Ultimate Sports/Traditional Camp)

August 10th- 14th (9am- 12pm)

Does your child love Roblox? Ready to turn playtime into creation? In this exciting camp, students learn how to design and build their own Roblox game using Roblox Studio. Throughout the week, campers will create a custom parkour (obby) arena, learning the basics of game design, level layout, and simple coding concepts along the way. By the end of camp, they’ll have a playable game they’re proud to share, while building creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

Join Food Explorers for a week of fresh and seasonal baking recipes! Each day you’ll be making two brand new recipes featuring produce that is in season this summer, such as: Peach Upside Down Cakes, Tomato Galettes, Mixed Berry Shortcakes and Apricot Rolls. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten

Time: 9am -12pm

Ages: Grades 3-6

Cost: $350 per week (Cooking Only) or $450 (Full Day with Insports Camp)

Join us this Summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. Our camps include fun team chess games, tournaments, and puzzles. We include all the materials necessary, but full day kids should bring lunch. Unleash your brain power and spend your vacation with Chess Wizards!

Time: Half Day (9am -12pm|12pm-3pm)
           Full Day (9am-3pm)

Ages: 5-12

Cost: $350 for week of HALF DAY (Chess Only) or $450 (Full Day with Insports Camp AM/PM)

Joe DeFilippo

Executive Director of Baseball Operations, Coach

Joe has done it all in his 40+ years in baseball as a player, coach/instructor, scout/ talent evaluator, and umpire.

Following a highly decorated career as a middle infielder, Joe immediately began teaching and coaching young players the game he loves, in Alabama, Texas and Connecticut. In addition, Joe has 20+ years experience as an umpire in youth, high school, and college baseball. He has also been involved in the scouting end of baseball as a talent evaluator at showcases/combines for prospective college and professional players.

Coach Joe has also been involved in coaching youth basketball, and football at both the youth and high school level.

Previously the organization founder & co-owner of the Connecticut RiverDogs, Coach Joe’s teams and players have won innumerable league and tournament championships.

RICH LICURSI

Executive Operations and Player Development, Coach

1st Team All American and Highest decorated player in Sacred Heart University baseball history; Coach Rich was player of the year in 1990 and earned a spot in the Cape Cod league for the Brewster Whitecaps. In high School Coach Rich was decorated with all state honors, All FCIAC, 1 State Championship at THS (1986), and selected to the All Daily News Baseball Team in 1987.  Coach Licursi is the All-Time record holder at SHU in career and season strikeouts, career and season wins, complete games career and season, total innings career and season, and total career appearances.  Coach Rich enjoyed a 5-year professional career with the LA Dodgers and Boston Red Sox organizations as well as independent baseball.  Coach Licursi has been in child development or over 30 years ranging from Director of the Westport/Weston YMCA to Board of Directors for in town sports.  When asking Coach Rich what his biggest accomplishment is, he states that he takes great pride in his students and players he works with, and the response from the community has been amazing.  Coaching now for over 30 years in youth sports ranging from Baseball, Football and Basketball, coach Rich will always be here for the kids and with a focus on personal and team growth.  Previously the organization owner & creator of the CT Dodgers, Coach Rich produced many championship teams over the past 7 years and signed over 30 ballplayers to college opportunities and scholarships.  A master in the art of pitching, Coach Rich is considered one of the best available to work with.
